This was a true home away from home for my family. We (including a 3 & 5 year old ) stayed for five days and it was very comfortable.You can’t get better access to all Amboise had to offer, it felt very relaxed / easy and right across from the popular chocolatier, Bigot! My daughters loved watching the bakers in their kitchen across from the bedroom. The hosts are a wonderful team who are very responsive and the place was pristine. Accueil chaleureux et attentionné. L’appartement est magnifique, confortable, c’est vraiment beau, soigné dans les moindres détails. Idéalement situé dans le coeur battant du coeur d’Amboise. Quartier vivant. On y va pour la vue, le lieu, la vie. Pas besoin de voiture, tout à pied.Très belles visites, le Clos Lucé et le Château royal bien sûr, mais ne surtout pas négliger le Château Gaillard. Belle découverte également. ‘La Chapelle’ is an elegant gem right in the centre of Amboise, with a wonderful view and easy walking access to everything you need - including three chateaux.It mixes the best of late 19th century character with 21st century amenities and design.Charlotte is a friendly and responsive host and Marianne always responds quickly, helpfully and with great humour. We had a fantastic time at Charlotte’s place and look forward to returning. In our view it should become the ‘go to’ place for anyone who wants an elegant base for a break in Amboise.

A very stylish apartment in the heart of Amboise which allows you to expereince the summer business from the comfort of the apartment. The enthusiasm of those experinencing the delights of the town never disturbed us, it was always quiet come bedtime. The bed was very comfortable and you have the option to close the shutters and black out curtains to make the room cosy.  I loved hearing the chatter whilst sitting near the balcony, having a coffee or reading a book.The view is great and we got to see hot air balloons floating past, a wedding party having photos taken at the chateaux, a jazz band entertaining dinners in the street and a boating festival on the river.The apartment is close to shops, within walking distance of the train station (18 minutes) and the places of interest in Amboise - my favourute was the Chateau Gaillard where I recommned trying the orange cake whilst sitting on the sunny terrace.We used the train to visit Blois and hired bikes to visit Tours.
